About Shirley Knuth
Shirley Knuth was born in Oklahoma and lived in Kansas before moving to Pasadena in 1945. She attended local schools, married and raised three children there. Shirley worked at Microdot in South Pasadena, Bank of America and at Caltech before becoming a real estate agent in 1977. Early in her career she was a member of the South Pasadena Le Tip Club and the South Pasadena Breakfast Club. She has been community minded from the start having been involved with activities in the community, her church and with her children's activities. During her real estate career she has been a consistent producer both in listings and sales regardless of prevailing market trends. She boasts a long list of satisfied clients. Over the years she has earned numerous awards. Many of her successes come from repeat business. She has earned the nationally recognized GRI designation which is awarded by the California Association of Realtors Graduate Institute for the completion of a comprehensive course in a variety of real estate subjects. She also holds the CRS, Certified Residential Specialist designation, the highest distinction a residential real estate salesperson can achieve. Her most recent designation is Senior Real Estate Specialist or SRES. Shirley is an active member of the Pasadena Foothills Association of Realtors where she has served as director and served for many years on the Cultural Heritage Committee. She is currently on the Professional Standards Committee. She is past Chair Person of the Pasadena Foothills Association of Realtors Communications Committee and the Cultural Heritage Committee as well. She is also a member of Altadena Heritage, the Pasadena Museum of History, South Pasadena Beautiful, Pasadena Beautiful, and Pasadena Heritage where for the past 5 years she has served on the committee for the annual Celebration on the Bridge Party.
